A proxy is a person who is authorized to act on behalf of another. In the context of the grocery delivery, a proxy is someone who is authorized by a food shelf participant to pick up and deliver groceries on their behalf.

How it works:
- Have ANYONE (18 or older) deliver groceries to any food shelf participant that gives The BRICK permission: neighbors, relatives, social workers, friends, etc.
- Change, edit, or add unlimited proxies at any time.
Perfect for:
- Transportation issues
- Scheduling conflicts
- Illness
- Car disrepair
- Vacation
- Stuck at work
- Homebound
- Elderly
- Disabled

Help your neighbors, relatives, and
friends receive food!
How it works:
- Deliver groceries to any participant that gives written permission:
- Neighbors, friends, relatives, etc.
- Assist with registration – it’s simple!
- Take a form & income guidelines to participant.
Assist with completion of the form. - Return with ID and Proof of Address of participant (photo okay).
Provide your ID at each pick-up. - Understand participant’s dietary needs, i.e.: allergies, diabetic, preferences.
- Allow approximately 30 minutes to shop.
